Trans Modern Theatre

An intercultural project between Iran and Switzerland.

The Trans Modern Theatre opens the „borders“ of today’s modern theatre. The audience can also be replaced by objects, especially puppets. The texts in the Trans Modern Theatre consist of very limited dialogues or monologues, perhaps even from a single word. The language is extremely reduced, no verbs, no adjectives. Important is the content and meaning of names and words. In this kind of theatre a person or object / puppets can play or take over an art figure as part of the existence.
